White Wine Suggestions

Looking for a white wine to serve with dinner tonight? Or maybe you're going on a picnic and would like to know what to pick up at the local grocery store or wine shop. Or perhaps you want to give a bottle of white wine as a gift.

Selecting just the right white wine can be a real challenge -- especially with the vast array of choices that are available.

On this page, we have tried to make your choice a little easier by listing some white wines that we have tried and found especially enjoyable. They are listed with our favorites at the top of each varietal. (To read more about each wine's personality, we suggest you visit the winery's website.)

Since it's pretty much impossible to keep up with new releases, we are not including the year the wine was bottled. Generally speaking, if a wine is good, it stays good throughout most vintages.

We can't guarantee you will like what we like, but at the very least, perhaps we can help you avoid buying a really bad white wine.

Most of the wines listed are in the $8 to $25 range.
