Chardonnay grapes

One of the owners of this winery is Michael Colhoun, a great-great-great-grandson of John Deere, the inventor of the first steel plow and founder of one of the world's largest farm equipment manufacturing companies. It would seem his interest in agriculture comes naturally.

Tasting hours: Daily - 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Listed wines and/or vintages may no longer be available. Contact the winery for the most recent releases.

1999 Sauvignon Blanc -- Adobe Canyon
For those who like a drier wine, this fits the occasion. Hints of melon in the flavor with a tart green apple finish.

1999 Overlook Chardonnay
Aromas of smoky oak with a hint of butter. Smooth in the mouth and a nice finish.

1998 Zinfandel -- Adobe Canyon
Peppery, spicy nose with suggestions of floral scents (carnations). Nice fruity flavor with a peppery finish.

1998 Damaris Reserve Chardonnay
A very nice wine. Fruity yet buttery. Received 90-91 points in The Wine Advocate.

1998 Lorenzo Chardonnay
Melons and a bit of butter in the aroma. Very smooth on the palate.
