1997 Vintage Brut
(paired with oMEGA 3 Smoked Salmon w/ English Cucumber)
A very flavorful sparkling wine with green apple aroma and flavors.
2002 Pinot Gris, Russian River
(paired w/Watermelon Radish w/ Avocado Mousse)
We picked up pear and green apricots in the aroma. Ripe apricots
on finish. The appetizer brought out the citrus flavors of the wine.
2000 Chardonnay, Russian River
(paired with Carmelized Pear w/Cresenza on Chamomile Shortbread)
Very buttery, very flavorful wine and absolutely stupendous with
the appetizer.
2000 Pinot Noir, Russian River
(paired with Duck Sausage on Bay Leaf Scone)
Red berry aroma and flavor. Delightful with the appetizer.
1999 Pinot Noir, Robert Thomas Vineyard
(paired with Toma Cheese Vol-au-vent w/Cider-glazed Turnips)
We were told these grapes were grown in a riverside vineyard, which
gives the wine a very different flavor. We really liked this wine!
1999 Pinot Noir, Nicole's Vineyard
Another very nice wine. Flavors galore and a delightful finish.
(Available only to wine club members)
Jessica Gorin, the Chef at "J," says Pinot
Gris goes exceptionally well with some of these appetizers: Grapefruit
and Frisee salad with Vella Dry Jack and shaved Fennel; Shrimp with
marinated baby Artichokes and Asparagus tips; Smoked Salmon Carpaccio
with Capers and Chives; Grilled Chicken with Lemon Risotto and English
Peas; Cucumber and Radish salad with Rice Wine Vinaigrette; and
Goat cheese raviolis with Sorrel Pesto. Enjoy!
