2000 Pinot Blanc, Robert Young Vineyard
What a fresh, delightful wine! Grapefruit in the aroma that carried over into the taste, along with notes of exotic papaya. There is limited distribution on this wine so if you like refreshing white wines, move quickly.

1999 Chardonnay, Robert Young Vineyard
Tropical fruits in the aroma with creamy vanilla flavors. Ripe apples and citrus on the loooong finish.

2000 Chardonnay, Belle Terre Vineyard
We immediately picked up whiffs of butterscotch, caramel, roasted hazelnuts, apples and lemon oil in the aroma. The apple and lemon oil were pronounced on the finish.

2000 Pinot Noir, Sonoma County
Rose petals, cranberries, cherries, and brown spices leap from the glass. On the palate, we savored plum flavors with leather notes on the finish.

1999 Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma County
This wine had a dusty nose with notes of black cherries and violets. The flavors included ripe blackberries and tobacco. A bright, spicy wine that will age well. Limited distribution.

2001 Gewürztraminer, Sonoma County
Bursting with spicy fruit and orange blossoms, this wine was a real treat. Lots of ripe pear in the flavor and a well-balanced citrus finish. A unique Gewürztraminer.

We also visited the "The Chateau", which is located separately from the regular tasting room.

2000 Fumé Blanc, La Petite Etoile Vineyard
Aromas of citrus, pear, and melon that carried over to the flavor, with a light creamy finish. A very nice wine.

1999 Reserve Chardonnay, Robert Young Vineyard
A refreshing, sipping wine with grapefruit and other citrus flavors, along with a notes of tropical fruit in the background. Hints of vanilla on the finish.

1999 Reserve Chardonnay, Sonoma County
Oaky-buttery aroma and taste with subtle hints of citrus. A very full-bodied Chardonnay that would go well with sauteed scallops and shrimp.

1998 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinq Cepages
A very nice blended wine that reminded us of bittersweet chocolate on the first whiff. Cherries and chocolate flavors swirled around in the taste.

1997 Merlot, Sonoma County
Lots of berry and cherry flavors in the nose with ripe cherries on the palate. This wine was rated a 92 by Robert Parker.

1997 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma County
Very lovely wine. Notes of dark chocolate, cassis, and black cherries throughout with a hint of black pepper. Rated 93 by Robert Parker and 91 by Wine Spectator.

1994 Brut Sparkling, Grand Cuvee
Oh my! If you like Granny Smith apples, you'll love this sparkling wine.
