Besides delightful wines, this winery offers incredible views of Mt. Hood from its tasting room, plus a lovely bed and breakfast.

Although we haven't as yet had a chance to visit, we were provided with two complimentary bottles to sample.

NV Pear Wine
Made with organic pears, this wine has an aroma and taste of ... what else? Pears! Not as sweet as you might think, the flavor is very appealing. Crisp and bright. Perfect for a summer sipping wine.

2003 Pinot Noir
A slightly sweet, flowery aroma with a light fruitiness in the mouth reminiscent of fresh raspberries. A graceful red wine.

2003 Chardonnay, MCDuffy's Vineyard
Full bodied with a strong pineapple fruit component. Bronze Medal, 2004 NW Wine Summit.

2003 Chardonnay, Celilo Vineyard
Classic spicy oak over ripe apple fruit with mineral notes. Round and complex flavors in the mouth.

2003 Pinot Gris
Pear and melon in nose and on palate. Fruity with good acidity. Silver Medal, 2004 NW Wine Summit.

2003 Gewürztraminer
Bouquet of rose petals and spice, together with citrus and fruit. Dry, full-bodied with crisp flavors and rose and herbs. Soft and very long.

2003 Riesling
Apple blossom aroma, slight sweet in the mouth. Balance of fruit and structure.

2002 Merlot
Luscious and deeply flavored. Aromas of berries and oak, followed by ripe berry and coffee flavors. Long finish.

2002 Syrah
Exotic, ripe fruit flavors, nicely balanced with oak and spice and ripe blackberry.

2003 Late Harvest Chenin Blanc
Intense aromas of honey, melon, and pineapple. Sweet honey and pear flavors with a satiny texture.
