Every time we've tried to visit this winery, the tasting room has been full. This time we lucked out. Very nice wines.Maurice was our host and told us their wines have been referred to as "magic wines" because the aroma and taste subtlety change with each sniff and sip.

1998 Estate Merlot
Strong raspberry jam aroma with a peppery finish. Try it with prime rib, beef stew.

1997 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Blackberries and walnuts in the aroma, a nice berry flavor, and a toasty oak finish. We believe this wine will be at its delicious peak in about 4-5 years. Pair with filet mignon, pork tenderloin, tomato-based pasta dishes.

1999 Estate Johannesburg Reisling
A pear/floral aroma with a nice fruity taste in the mouth and on the finish. A refreshing wine just perfect for sipping or with mesquite-grilled chicken.

1999 Estate Gerwürztraminer
A mixture of floral, spice, and grapefruit in the aroma. A pleasing taste with a hint of roses on the finish. Good with Far East cuisine.

1999 Estate Muscat di Canelli
A yummy dessert wine with strong orange/pineapple flavors. Sweet, but not syrupy,
