1998 Chardonnay "Ovation"
Oakiness on the nose with vanilla-oak in the mouth. A smooth, lingering finish.

1998 Pastiche White
A blend of Chardonnay, Scheurebe, Riesling, Semillon, Marsanne, Viognier and Muscat that results in a nicely balanced wine with pear and citrus flavors.

1998 Le Mistral
Another blended wine using Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Alicante Bouschet, Zinfandel, Carignane, and Petite Sirah. We picked up chocolate and sweet spices in the nose with plums and berries in the mouth. An interesting semi-sweet chocolate on the finish.

1998 Insignia
Blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes brought berries, tobacco, and a bit of earthiness to this wine. Aging will greatly accentuate each of these characteristics. A quality wine.

1986 Johannisberg Riseling, Late Harvest
