Brutocao has two tasting rooms; we visited the one in Anderson Valley. The other one is located in Hopland, CA.

We tasted several of their offered wines, but were not overly impressed. You may very well disagree, so we've provided some notes for your review.

2001 Sauvignon Blanc
Citrus aromas with a touch of grassiness. Mineral flavors on the finish.

2001 Chardonnay
A light, fruity flavored Chardonnay. Good for summer afternoons.

1999 Merlot
Black cherries and currants in the aroma, light tobacco and spices on the palate.

2001 Zinfandel
Blackberry fruit reaches your nose and carries over into the flavor. Chocolate on finish.

2000 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Lots of berries in the flavor. A deeply fruited intensity that is smooth on the palate. Should age nicely.
