We've been visiting this winery for several years and have seen a gradual improvement in their wines. They have won many awards.

On our latest visit, we weren't very impressed with the white wines, but found several reds we liked.

2002 Viognier
Chosen as best Viognier in the region. A fruity wine with peach and nectarine bouquet and flavors.

2002 Dry Rosé
We tasted this wine chilled and at room temperature. The chilled version was very refreshing, but there was much more flavor at room temperature. We noticed lots of cherries in the nose and mouth.

2000 Merlot - Livermore Valley
A light, fruity red with cherry flavors. Has a 'different' flavor than most Merlots.

2000 Merlot - Santa Lucia Highlands
This is a Merlot blend with 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is very herbal and earthy. We picked up bell pepper in the nost and the taste. An interesting wine.

1999 Cabernet Sauvignon
Black raspberries in the bouquet and flavor. Good aging potential.

1998 Port
Silver Medal
Very good! Smooth, elegant, delicious. Try it with dark chocolate desserts.
