If you love wine, you've come to the right place!

"Wine is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy!"
                                                                   -- Ben Franklin

For more years than we care to count, we have been ardent lovers of wine. We sniff it, we swirl it, we taste it, and most of all, we drink it. Smiley

Since first publishing this website back in 2000, we've discovered there are thousands of other winelovers just like us, as well as hundreds of new winelovers ... people who took that first sip or two and were hooked.

By the way, did you know there is evidence that people were making wine as far back as 6,000-7,000 BCE? Smart people.

We invite you to explore this website. From the menu at the left, you will see we offer tips on tasting and describing wine, storing wine, selecting the right wine, serving wine, and making wine at home.

There's also information about wine and food, how wine affects your health, along with some interesting facts about specialty wines, such as port, champagne, and organic wines.

Are you puzzled about which wine to buy? Perhaps you've walked into a store's wine section and were overwhelmed by the number of choices. Good news! We have a section dedicated to various red and white wines to help you make your selection. These are wines that we have tried and think are above-average.

Looking for a wine-related gift? Check out some of our suggested gift ideas, such as cheese and wine baskets, wine-related games, and special occasion baskets for your wine-loving friends.

And if you simply want to know what all the fuss is about, we suggest you read Making Sense Of Wine.

We hope you'll take the time to visit (and "Like") our Facebook page where we regularly post our recommendations of wines we have tried.

Cheers!

Nan and Michael
